Rocky Mountain - Santa Cruz - Juliana - Ibis - Haibike Pedal-Assist

Demos available by reservation 7-days a week, throughout the riding season.

Demos can be booked for the day (9:30am to 5:30pm) for $89; or at a 24 hr. rate or multiple days for $109/day. Multi-day discounts automatically apply for 3 or more day.

If you need a "Night Before the Ride" pickup, select Extended Play 1 ( Early pick-up) for an additional $20. Though we can't guarantee when someone returns their demo, if at all possible, we will try to have your bike set-up between 5:30 and close (6pm), the night before. Again, no guarantees. The only way we can guarantee you will have it the night before is if you book that day as well, as a 2 day demo.

If you are booking just for the day and can't get your demo back by 5:30, we ask you be here with the bike at 9:00 sharp, so we can get the bike ready for the next rider in a timely fashion. This will cost you $20, and again, you need to book that as part of your reservation, under the Extended Play 2 option. If you are later than 9am, and are impeding our customer from getting his demo in a timely manner, you will be charged for an additional day.

We do not demo DH bikes and do not allow any of our trail bikes to be ridden at North Star's Bike Park, period.  North Star's Bike Park, though a fun place, is a DH specific bike park, so if that's what you are looking for, rent a DH bike,  full-face helmet, pads,, etc., from them. There are plenty of outstanding singletrack trails in the Tahoe Truckee to ride, out side of a ski area, so plan accordingly and get out there and have some fun. Just so we are clear, if you take our trail bikes to North Star's Park, you will be liable for the retail cost of replacing the complete bike.

If you're not familiar with our trails, or need some special expertise, we recommend you contact Tahoe Mountain Guides. They offer a complete guiding and shuttle service: book a tour.

Best suited for snow packed trails, we feature the Rocky Mountain Blizzard. With super fat tires, multi gears and disc brakes, these bikes are the perfect way to get out and ride here in the winter months. There are a variety of machine groomed and people packed trails with close proximity to the shop. We do not offer online reservation on fat bikes, as the snow packed trails need to be in perfect shape and conditions can vary radically due to air temp  and snowfall. Give us a call before your trip to get an updated trail report.

Fat bikes demos are currently suspended but will be available for demo at $49 per day thru the snow season.
